Nana Poll, born in Berlin in 1966, has been working in the gallery since fall of 2012. She studied journalism and art history at the free university of Berlin. In her master’s thesis, she studied the topic “art criticism in newspapers of the federal republic of Germany and cultural activities. Tasks and problems occurring in current Art Education, as well as, a review of the evolutionary history.”
From 1996 to 2001 she managed public relations for the ‘Berliner Festspiele’ and also for the Millennium program “Das Neue Berlin 99/01”. From October 2001 to April 2012, she was responsible for the foundation Schloss Neuhardenberg, covering the areas communication and public relations.
From 2009 to 2012 she was part of organizing the exhibition “Gute Geschäfte. Kunsthandel in Berlin 1933-1945”, which was implemented by Aktives Museum and was stationed at multiple locations in Berlin. An extensive catalogue was released as part of the exhibition.
